Expanding Rural Coverage
“We have identified geographies where we haven’t covered well till now. We are adding towers in those regions. We have a clear plan of rollout from now till March. So, we will cover a lot of villages that are uncovered for now,” Anand Dani reportedly said, explaining Vi’s focus on expanding its network coverage.
Regarding network coverage issues in rural areas, the executive reportedly stated, “We cover 96 percent of the population. It’s a very small percentage, which we will continue to enhance our network. And as and when capacity gets consumed in that market, we can add more towers.”

Customer-Centric Plans
Dani reportedly highlighted that Vi’s aggressive plans, such as the Hero Recharge (now SuperHero), have been well-received by customers. “We thought evening was the best time. For youth, again, their evenings are late. So, that’s where we thought we would introduce a pack that will offer them all the benefits,” Dani explained, outlining the thought process behind the Hero Recharge.
