After a long wait, Idea subscribers will now see a new offer from the telco. From quite some time, Idea has been dormant as we haven’t seen any offer, plan revision or any other major update from Idea in the last few weeks. However, on the flip side, Vodafone has been launching new plans for its subscribers. But this time around, Idea is the one debuting a new offer for its subscribers. What’s interesting to note is that the offer which Idea has introduced for its subscribers is not a generic one which you’d get to see on other telcos’ portfolio but actually it offers year-long data and calling benefits. Citi Credit Card Offer for Idea Prepaid Subscribers

The benefits that Idea is giving under this offer are pretty impressive. The telecom operator has announced that eligible customers will get free unlimited calling and 1.5GB daily data benefit on their Idea number for 365 days straight. To avail the benefits of this offer, firstly, subscribers of Idea will have to apply for a Citi credit card from the offer webpage on Idea website. After the subscriber receives his or her Citi credit card, they will be required to spend at least Rs 4,000 on their credit card within 30 days of receiving it. The subscribers can decide to spend the Rs 4,000 amount in one go, or they can spend it cumulatively in the 30 days after receiving their card. On doing this, the Idea subscribers will finally be eligible for the year-long benefits of this plan. As per the information given by Idea, this offer will be live for a limited period only.

Idea Citi Credit Card Offer Details and Eligibility

Now it is crucial to note that since there is quite a process involved with this new offer, the customers will have to take a keen look at the terms of the offer. The first thing to note is that unlike the other offers which Vodafone Idea is launching after its merger, this one will only apply to Idea prepaid subscribers only. There is another essential thing to note related to this offer. The subscriber who would like to opt for this scheme would have to ensure that they buy a Rewards, IOC, Cashback and Premier Miles Credit card only.

The offer terms also mandate that in order to be eligible for the benefits, the customer must be of 23 years of age, and he or she must be from any one of the listed cities - Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Secunderabad, Chennai, Baroda, Coimbatore, Jaipur and Chandigarh. Idea has also noted that this offer will be live starting April 30, 2019, and will go on till July 31, 2019. The telco has also informed that once the subscriber receives the benefit under this offer, any previous unlimited plan benefit will get forfeited.
