Idea Cellular Rs 295 Prepaid plan
This new plan by Idea doesn’t offer daily data for its entire validity periods. Instead, it comes with an older format of 5GB bundled data which is valid for 42 days. Besides the 5GB 2G/3G/4G benefit, users have the calling facility which is capped at 250 minutes a day and 1000 minutes a week. Also, users are only limited to calling 100 unique numbers in 7 consecutive days. After users exhaust the data limit, they will be charged at Rs 4 per MB or 4p/10KB. On crossing the voice cap, subscribers will be charged at 1p/minute. Lastly, subscribers also get the added benefit of 100 SMS per day.

Idea Cellular also has a Rs 149 voice-only plan which offers free voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 21 days.

Bharti Airtel Rs 299 Voice Only Plan
Unlike the plan by Idea Cellular, Airtel’s Rs 299 plan comes only with voice calling benefit and no data benefit. The validity of this plan is 45 days. However, this plan also brings the 100 SMS per day advantage to the users. Unlike the Idea Cellular, this one even doesn’t come with a voice cap meaning that users get access to genuinely unlimited voice calling without any restrictions.

Under its combo offerings, Airtel offers the Rs 249 and Rs 349 plans which ship daily data benefit to the users. Similar to the Rs 299 plan, another combo plan by Airtel comes at the price of Rs 199 which offers voice benefit to the users for 28 days along with 100 SMS per day and 1.4GB data per day.

Reliance Jio Rs 299
Reliance Jio has got a different offering in its portfolio for Rs 299. This plan by Reliance Jio comes with a 28 days validity, and it offers unlimited calling without any FUP. Further, this plan also provides 3GB data daily. Users will also have the added benefit of 100 SMS daily, and they will get a free subscription to Jio apps like JioMusic, JioTV etc.

After the merger which paved the way for the largest telco in the country – Vodafone Idea Ltd, the company is now better prepared to face competition. The telecom behemoth has even surpassed Bharti Airtel, the former biggest telco in the country by boasting of 437 million customers and 35% market share. Also, the merger brings together a combined synergy of $10 billion which Vodafone Idea Ltd will use to develop a stronghold in the country.

Fraudtel did it again.

I was hoping it is now not deducting balance and data wrongly. But here is the proof that it’s still cheating.

Eventhough 97 MB left in my data pack, it deducted my main balance and balance becomes zero. 850 MB of data was there when I connect Internet, update Google docs app, check whatsapp messages, check FB and voila whole quota of data got over !!!(just 97 MB left) and main balance goneeeee.

I am checking Airtel and Vodafone 4G & VoLTE in Gujarat, so did this tests, Vodafone didn’t deduct any balance fraudulently, but Airtel will never stop cheating.

Few days back I posted that Airtel was skimming off our data in many people’s daily balances.
Last week Airtel sent message as free 10 GB data. Tried to see if speed was any good and it was still awful, so I let mobile data be on and 10 mins later 10rs was cut from my account. Then they say its 4G-only data when it wasn’t mentioned anywhere in their message. Pathetic looting Airtel.

Got my main balance back.
Airtel still saying, as a one time gesture, its credting back balance, but please keep an eye on data usage, 3G/4G speed is very high, blah blah blah.
As if we don’t know the difference between speeds of 2G and 3G/4G.
Airtel advice me that, download videos in low resolution though quality will not be good, etc etc.

Readers u r comment please

While 3GPP body suggest healthy 100 Mhz spectrum for 5G but operators worldwide are allowed to own only upto 60 or 80 Mhz in band 3300-3600 Mhz. Not sure how much indian telcos can buy or allowed…

Guess which telco in india will launch 5G given that spectrum pricing is out…?
