Reliance Jio, India's largest telecom operator, will now be offering customers JioBook, an affordable and stylish laptop to boost their productivity. JioBook will be available in India at Rs 16,499, starting August 5, 2023. Customers will be able to purchase the laptop from Reliance Digital online and offline stores as well as Amazon.in.

JioBook Specifications and Features

JioBook will run on the JioOS. It supports 4G and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. The JioBook just weighs 990 grams, which is even lighter than a MacBook Air. It is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core chip for smooth multi-tasking and has an 11.6-inch screen. There's an Infinity keyboard and a large multi-gesture trackpad. The in-built ports include USB, audio and an HDMI port. There's 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB with an SD card slot.

The keyboard supports over 75+ shortcuts. There's also an integrated chatbot on the laptop. You can also access the JioTV app through the JioBook and play leading gaming titles with JioCloudGames. Also, one of the major features of the JioBook is JioBIAN. It is meant to deliver a ready coding environment to the students so that they can easily learn to code in various languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, and Pearl.

The JioBook comes with an HD webcam and supports Stereo sound as well. There's also support for wireless printing, so say goodbye to all the wires. The display has anti-glare protection, which means less stress on the eyes and a better visual experience. The battery of the JioBook can last more than 8 hours on a single charge.

Consumers going for the JioBook will also get 100GB of cloud storage at no additional cost with the DigiBoxx. There will also be a year of Quick Heal Antivirus protection provided to the customers.
