Independent TV has gone through a lot of problems in recent times, but the company promises a strong comeback. Just a couple of days ago, Independent TV confirmed that it would make a comeback in the form of ITV 2.0 avatar. However, back then it was reported that ITV 2.0 would kick off operations sometime in August. As per the latest news, Independent TV customers will be able to watch television channels from August 15, nearly two months after the service disruption took place. It will be a delight to the customers, but at the same time, a lof Independent TV users may have switched to other DTH operators as the company did not provide any proper timeline on when the service resumption will take place. Now, after solving all the financial issues, Independent TV is all set to restore operations as ITV 2.0 on August 15.

ITV 2.0 to Start Selling New Connections from September
Independent TV is completely getting a makeover as ITV 2.0, confirmed the company’s CEO Vivek Prakash. He also added that the DTH operator has a definite plan which also includes training of ZD and SSD engineers to repair and replace the existing set-top boxes from customer houses. Indian Television reported this news first. The Set-Top Boxes which are currently with the sellers will be repaired by the engineers and they will be used to replace the existing STBs in the customer houses. The company aims to replace the STBs by October 31, 2019.
