BSNL announces Rs 50 free calling for Hudhud affected areas

The whole nation is making an effort to help the Hudhud affected areas of the nation and BSNL has come forth to do its bit. It has announced that in the cyclone affected districts of Andhra Pradesh which are Visakapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam, the users of BSNL’s network will be getting a talk value of Rs 50. They will also get to make calls to other BSNL users (local and STD) at the rate of 5 paise per minute and to other networks at the rate of 25 paise per minute for the next 30 days.


The customers can also send up to 50 SMS and the tariff validities have been increased by 30 days for the prepaid customers. Similar is the case for postpaid customers from whom the bill payments due in October for the September usage have been increased by a month.
