During the launch, Xiaomi said that it would roll out MIUI 11 update to a total of 28 smartphones by the end of 2019. Until now, the company has seeded the update to 27 Mi, Redmi and Poco smartphones, and the update will soon be rolled out to Redmi Note 8 Pro as well. This is an incredible feat for Xiaomi because the company is not known for rolling out software updates to its smartphones, but it has changed the stat this year with MIUI 11. MIUI 11 Now Rolled Out to 27 Smartphones in India

Xiaomi has always been under the radar for not pushing regular software updates to its smartphones. Even in 2018, the company announced MIUI 10 in the month of June, but it took more than three months for the brand to roll out the update to its phones. Back then, Xiaomi even had several versions of MIUI like Alpha, Beta, Global Beta and then the Global Stable. However, the company now has just two versions of MIUI- Beta Stable and Stable. So Xiaomi has actually managed to push Stable MIUI 11 update to 27 smartphones and the number will soon become 28 as the Redmi Note 8 Pro is slated to get the update in the fourth week of December.
