Airtel subscribers at Kochi in Kerala have been receiving messages from the operator stating an opportunity to upgrade their mobile connections to 4G SIM for FREE. The message looks like an indication that the operator has launched 4G in the area.
To add to it, no documents are required to be submitted for this upgrading. Also, the subscribers can get the SIM card delivered to their houses, if sent a request via message. The data plans and balances will be carried forward to the new connection.
Earlier in April 2012, Airtel had launched India’s first 4G services in Kolkata.
