Airtel to launch 4G in Kochi, Operator asks people to upgrade SIM for FREE

Airtel subscribers at Kochi in Kerala have been receiving messages from the operator stating an opportunity to upgrade their mobile connections to 4G SIM for FREE. The message looks like an indication that the operator has launched 4G in the area.

airtel knows how to advertise.
when you go to their office, they donot know how to do the demo on 4g.
they donot have a smart phone with 4g facility even.
when you recharge your 4g sim supplied by them already, the 4g data plan doesnot work.they said it will take 4 hrs to start working.

who asked them to launch it without making any ample preparations? tripunithura

I tried my luck with the much advertised 4G network of Airtel. They launched it on 25th of Aug,2015. I got my existing SIM changed to 4G SIM on 23-8-2015 itself. On 27-8-2015, I went to Airtel office personally and charged 1GB data for 28 days (4G) by paying Rs247.

For your personal information, I am informing you all that even today (11-9-2015), I donot get 4G net in my mobile, even after repeated visits to Airtel offices in Tripunithura and Kadavantra offices.

Hence folks, beware of AIRTEL. They are here to cheat you.
