Realme X2 will make its debut in India on December 17, according to the teaser page of Flipkart. The Realme X2 is the same Realme XT 730G smartphone which the company has been teasing for more than three months now. This officially confirms the Realme X2 will be a successor to the Realme XT and not just an upgraded variant of the same. In China, the Realme X2 has been on sale since August this year, so the same variant could reach the Indian market as well. Recently, Realme launched an Avocado Green variant of the Realme X2 in China and the Flipkart teaser also confirms this variant's launch in the Asian sub-continent. As for the confirmed features, the Realme X2 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset and quad-camera setup on the back.

Realme X2 Complete Spec-Sheet Available Online

Because the Realme X2 is already available in China, we have the complete spec-sheet of the smartphone. The handset sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display on the front with a teardrop notch on top that houses the 32MP selfie camera. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner. At the heart of the phone, we have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Realme X2 also offers a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

As for the camera setup, the Realme X2 rocks four cameras on the back- 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera setup on the Realme X2 is same as the one we get on the Realme XT which is already available in India at Rs 15,999. On the front, the Realme X2 has a 32MP selfie camera.

Other features of the Realme X2 include Dolby Atmos support, 4000mAh battery with 30W Super VOOC fast charging and it even has Hi-Res Audio support. Connectivity options on the handset include Dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a USB Type-C port is located on the bottom. The Realme X2 also offers a 3.5mm headphone jack which is a must since the phone is aimed at the gamers.

Realme X2 India Launch: What We Know So Far

The Realme X2 will make its debut in India on December 17. Going by the Flipkart teaser page, the Realme X2 will be available in the Avacado Green colour variant. Realme may launch the X2 in two more colour options- Pearl Blue and Pearl White. In China, the Realme X2 is available in two variants- 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB, priced at 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,400) and 1899 Yuan (approx. Rs 19,500), respectively.

It will be interesting to see how many variants of the Realme X2 will debut in India. We're expecting the base variant to offer 128GB storage with the two variants having 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. As for the expected pricing, the Realme X2 will likely start at Rs 19,999 in the country.

The differences between the Realme XT and Realme X2 are 32MP front-facing camera, Snapdragon 730G chipset and 30W Super VOOC charging support. These three differences make up for a decent price hike, especially the Snapdragon 730G chipset is not coming at affordable prices for smartphone brands even after a year of launch.
