Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has announced that the prices of the Realme phones will increase post-Diwali. Sheth took to Twitter last week to reveal the price hike news. The company recently launched the Realme 2 Pro, which has been much talked about. In addition to the Realme 2 Pro, the company also announced the Realme C1 to take on the likes of budget Xiaomi phones like Redmi 6A, or for that matter even the Redmi 5A. As said, we have talked a lot about the Realme 2 Pro, but not so much about the Realme C1.

The Realme C1 has been aggressively priced, and with the phone, Realme aims to take on the likes on some of the similar price segment phones from Xiaomi and others. Overall, the Realme C1 is a decent phone, but the device comes with three features that are the key highlights of the device. Let’s take a quick look at what makes the Realme C1 stand out from the competition.
iPhone X Like Notch, Tall Display
The Realme C1 is one of the first phones that is so cheap and yet comes with a notched display. The trend was started by Apple with its anniversary edition iPhone and was later followed by the Android smartphone makers. Apple’s newly launched iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and also the iPhone XR also come with a notch on top of the display which sports the sensors, selfie camera and the earpiece. Realme uses the same strategy for the C1. The notch, arguably, makes the Realme C1 one of the best-looking smartphones in the budget segment. Not just the notch, the smartphone comes with a big 6.2-inch HD+ display which we haven’t seen in that price range.
