I have HTC pulse with Android 2.1. I wanted to upgrade to 2.3 . So I tried going to Settings-> About phone -> System updates
But I get “Your system is currently up to date”.

Can I someone suggest how to upgrade ? are there any other ways ?

    Hi,

This phone is not working properly. Don’t get excited. MTS Network is good.
This is waste of money deal.Very poor battery back up. You should carry one tubular
(industrial) battery along with one charger. There are some software errors also.

    1. It is taking global incoming number, hence you cannt call back as you dont have
    ISTD facility.
    2. If others are not lifting it is replying as “MTS” is not responding.
    3. Call Register is having late updates
    4. I am using from 3 months and need to see the quality of the touch screen.
    5. ALWAYS (Most of the time) their customer care application will not work. They will ask you to call after 30 minutes … repeat…
    6. Fancy Customer care.. you will listen sweet voice saying “Sorry sir”
    7. Out lets / employees in out lets / customer care /bill collection/ Service Centers ALL ARE OUTSOURCED AND Their centralized application / Server is busy.

    kv

after this loging period the rentel willbe very high?
the MTS people have not upgrade many more plases for MBLAZE so we have not get speed it’s correct?
except city, the phone speed very, very slow?

    Hi Guys,
    Dont buy this phone,
battery is so terrible, even you have to charge it 3 times in a day for 1 hour each, USB charger wont work at all it take more then 4 hour to charge from USB, Processor is so low speed, Even the most poplar games Angry Bird you cannot run properly and the screen will jerk while playing.

Last and the best they won’t provide you HeadPhone with this phone, so the phone is hell & dont think you will get this phone at 1500 as the company claim you have to pay 150 rupees extra as 10 % tax, so the cost will be 1650 rupees per month and after one year 19800 rupees approx.

    Hi folks,

Don’t ever think of going for HTC phones. They provide a pathetic service. Customer care don’t know how to behave and they don’t really care about the customers. It is been 20days I have applied for the handset and till now there is no info. LOL…. ZOOT is only Zhoot.

If you are really a fan of android then go for LG Optimos one which will come in 11K or go for Samsung Galexy S if your buget is high.
    FOLKS, MTS service SUCKS!!!!!

Wat’s meaning in taking 1000CC prepaid plan.
Bcoz u have to pay 18000. so why take less minutes in retun.
Better to go for 1500CC prepaid

    Actually you are right..
Under any plan customer is bound to pay 18k in total, so why opt for 1000 plan, instead take 1500 plan and get 1500 free mins and sms.

I submitted the handset request on their site yesterday.
But no one contacted me til now.
Even MTS CC told me to call after sometime because they are not having such information.
If MTS is not prepared than why they launched this offer.

Ya most of the customers want to be in GSM so that they have wider choice lets see what it results…..

  • RDB March 16, 2011 at 2:15 pm

The handset is powered with Android 2.1 … except this, the phone is worth buy! But GSM phones with similar specs are available at 12K or something! And MTS being CDMA player has avg ARPU less than Rs 100. So major part of MTS customers are low spending users who will never opt it!

    Means in 1500
plan Rs450 for call(@1p/2sec) Rs15(@1p) for sms and 98(similar to airtel idea) for net taking total to 563 means every month Rs937 extra… And for 12 months it comes to Rs11244(937*12) so now its ur choice if the handset is worth spending then go for it and also consider conditions of using credit card as these cards charges interest from 15% to 36% for this scheme i cant say
