Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will now be available in China in an 8GB+256GB storage variant. The Chinese company has launched a 256GB variant of the Note 8 Pro at CNY 1,899 (approx. Rs 19,450). In India, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 Pro in three variants- 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB, priced at Rs 14,999, Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999, respectively. Xiaomi will likely launch the Note 8 Pro with 256GB of storage in India in the coming weeks and the price could be Rs 19,999 or Rs 19,499. For now, Xiaomi India did not confirm anything regarding the arrival of 256GB variant to the sub-continent.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro Now Available in a Total of 4 Variants
With the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi is going all guns blazing by offering the device in multiple RAM and storage configurations. With the launch of 8GB+256GB variant, the Note 8 Pro will be available in a total of four variants in China- 6GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB, 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. As mentioned above, the first three variants of the Note 8 Pro are available in the Indian market, but there’s no news on when the newly launched 8GB+256GB variant will reach the country. We’re expecting Xiaomi to surely bring this new model to the Indian market to fill the price bracket. If the new variant reaches India for under Rs 20,000, then it will be the cheapest phone to offer 256GB storage at the time of launch. The new storage variant comes in three colour options- Pearl White, Light Grey and Ice Emerald.
