Kurup is based on the true story of Sukumara Kurup, Kerala's most wanted criminal, who hasn't been found since. Dulquer Salmaan, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Sobhita Dhulipala play the title characters in the Malayalam film. Srinath Rajendran directed the movie.
