Successful CS Core Transformation

According to their joint statement, this project, which commenced in November 2022, was completed ahead of schedule in September 2023, consolidating two separate CS networks into one single unified network with state-of-the-art architecture.

Operational Efficiency Boost

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison stated that this transformation project is a part of the merger program and has resulted in a 53 percent reduction in operational expenditures (OPEX) and an increase in the customer satisfaction index of 1.1 percent.

According to the statement, Indosat can reduce the risk of network disruptions or downtime in the catastrophic events of fibre or power cuts by transforming the CS core into a single platform and pooling capability.

This transformation also reduces call setup times by 495 seconds. In addition, this network simplification reduces the number of hardware, software, and infrastructure requirements, thereby reducing the OPEX.
