Vodafone the second largest operator in India by subscriber base has launched a self help facility for billing details for postpaid subscribers in Gujarat telecom circle. Subscribers using this facility can easily check the bill details for the past 12 months on their handset by sending a request SMS to Vodafone. Subscribers who wish to avail this facility should send an SMS with the first three letters of the month for which they require the bill and send it to 199.

Vodafone-India

Vodafone will send a reply SMS containing a web link to the desired bill and subscribers can click on that link and view the bill from their handset. This facility is supported on all major operating systems, Android, iOS, Windows and blackberry.

Vodafone has in the past launched interactive services through revamping its online My account portal and improving its selfcare app which gives it an edge over other incumbents like Airtel and Idea. With an ever improving mobile network footprint Pan India and self help initiatives like these coupled with a dynamic customer care experience and e-comerce offerings like m-pesa Vodafone is well positioned to maintain its strong hold in India in times to come.
