You Broadband starts offering 60 Mbps plans in Chennai

You Broadband, a regional provider of Broadband services, is offering two 60 Mbps broadband plans in the Chennai region. The two plans offer a decent amount of value for money and can be considered as a choice for the Chennai customers. Here’s what You Broadband is offering:

You Fibernet Chennai Plan Details

  • It will cost you Rs 2246
  • Time duration: 1 month
  • Speed on offer: 60 Mbps
  • Data usage allowed at speeds of up to 60 Mbps is 125 GB
  • After exceeding 125 GB, you can still have unlimited downloads at speeds up to 2 Mbps

You Bullet Chennai Plan Details

  • It will cost you Rs 4444
  • Time duration: 6 months
  • Speed on offer: 60 Mbps
  • Data usage allowed at speeds of up to 60 Mbps is 225 GB
  • After exceeding 225 GB, you can still have unlimited downloads at speeds up to 512 Kbps

A 1 month installation charge will cost you Rs 606 and the installation charges for 3,6,9 and 12 month plans from the company cost Rs 303. You need to pay Rs 1,000 up front for the modem but those are refundable. Do let us know if any of you try it.

I was using this crappy cable company connection for some months. I have to say I’ve lost a lot because of You broadband. It’s the worst company. Their cable will get cut every Friday. They will take at least 4 days to fix it! Moreover the customer care will say that the issue will be addressed in 3 days. When we call at the end of 3rd day, they will say that it’s 3 working days! Not even nodal officer is responsible. They are just cheaters. They’ll say it’s 60Mbps, but you will hardly get 20 – 25Mbps during off… Read more »

Wish some of these Broadband providors come to Bhubaneswar, Odisha. We have only option BSNL and stuck with 512kbps for 900 bucks a Month.
