Amidst the frenzy going on regarding the launch of Android One devices in the country, Sony has quietly launched the Xperia E3 and E3 dual in India for Rs 11,990 and Rs 12,990 respectively. The mid range offerings will be taking on the other mid rangers like the Moto G (2nd Gen) and a slew of other budget quad cores. Its specifications are somewhat closely matched to the Android One devices and it costs twice as much. Let us take a look at their specifications:

So if you can compromise a bit on the processor (Android One devices have a Mediatek unit), you can save yourself the money to buy 2 Android One smartphones instead.
