UAE Telecom, du, from Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), has announced that it has commenced the deployment of multi-carrier aggregation technologies within its commercial wireless network. Du has announced that the implementation of this new technology will enable its network to deliver three times faster data speeds focused on fixed wireless home broadband services to its users in UAE.

du, has stated the deployment of advanced multi-carrier aggregation technology in its commercial wireless network. This move is set to bring about a transformative shift in network speeds and user experience for its Home wireless services (Fixed Wireless Access – FWA).
Triple Carrier Integration
du’s technology deployment involves the integration of three carriers, each with a bandwidth of 100 MHz, within the 3.5 GHz (C-Band) and 2.6 GHz bands. According to du, this aggregation promises to deliver data speeds three times faster than the existing offerings.
