Spectra, which was earlier known as Spectranet has recently joined the list of operators offering Gigabit broadband service in the country. Spectra is offering four 1 Gbps broadband plans named Fastest Basic, Fastest Unlimited, Fastest Entertainment and Fastest Premium. While the Spectra Fastest Basic plan offers data of 150GB per month, the other plans don't come with any monthly FUP, meaning you can consume as much amount of data as you can.
The Basic plan costs Rs 899, while the other four plans cost Rs 1,299, Rs 1,549 and Rs 1,849. If you're a new user looking to get Spectra broadband connection, your first month charges will be a bit more as the company collects installation charges and security deposit of Rs 2,000. There's no way of avoiding security deposit amount, but the company will waive off the installation charges on three months or above billing. Also, there will be taxes additionally.
The same thing applies to all the Spectra 1 Gbps broadband plans. The speciality of these plans is not only the 1 Gbps broadband speed, but the company is also providing some digital content services too. However, these content benefits are limited to Spectra Fastest Entertainment and Spectra Fastest Premium plans.
The Spectra Fastest Entertainment plan offers free Google Chromecast, Hungama premium pack of Rs 1,080 and premium subscription to ALTBalaji. And lastly, the Fastest Premium plan gives the users free Amazon Fire TV stick, free Hungama subscription with unlimited music and movies and a premium subscription to ALTBalaji.
The primary highlight of these Spectra broadband plans is the 1 Gbps speed, but if you choose the premium plans, you will get the free subscription to content services. These are probably the best broadband plans available right now for Delhi-NCR residents.
