Xiaomi Launches Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones With 8 Hours Playtime for Rs 1,599

Xiaomi today debuted some of the most awaited smartphones in the country, the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro. However, whenever Xiaomi makes a big launch in the country, it's not the only thing that it launches. These launches are accompanied by some of the other accessories which the brand brings for its Indian buyers. This time, Xiaomi has launched the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones alongside the Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi K20 smartphones. These new earphones by Xiaomi come with a Micro-Arc collar design and also support Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. Xiaomi has also claimed that these Bluetooth earphones are capable of delivering up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. Not only this, but the earphones also offer features like tri-band equalisation and dynamic bass. Alongside this launch, Xiaomi in its event today also announced the price of the Mi Rechargeable LED Lamp which will go on sale tomorrow as part of the crowdfunding campaign.




Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Details

The Chinese manufacturer has also announced that the first sale for the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones will go for sale on July 23 and they debut with a price tag of Rs 1,599. The earphones will be available through Flipkart and Mi.com. Like we mentioned above, the earphones come with Micro-Arc collar design. Xiaomi has also asserted that the earphones are made out of skin-friendly rubber material that is anti-slip and it is also conveniently flexible. The earphones also weigh only 13.6 grams, and the components inside enable dynamic bass output and tri-band equalisation.

The Mi Neckband Earphones also enables a voice command feature which will allow the users to navigate, take calls and even play music on their demand. This will easily be paired with the pre-installed voice assistant on your phone. When it comes to connectivity, the Neckband Earphones by Xiaomi support Bluetooth 5.0, in addition, they also extend support for HFP, A2DP, HSP, and AVRCP protocols. These Mi Neckband Earphones support a range of up to 10 metres.

Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Battery and Other Features

As for the battery, the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones offer a battery of 120mAh which has been claimed by Xiaomi to support battery life of up to 8 hours on this piece of gadget. The battery standby time on the earphones has been said to be 260 hours. Xiaomi has also said that these earphones will take around two hours to go from 0 to full meaning that in two hours of charge, the users of the Mi Neckband Bluetooth earphones will be able to churn out 8 hours of playtime.

Mi Rechargeable LED Lamp Details

Like we mentioned above, besides the earphones, Xiaomi has announced the Mi Rechargeable LED lamp which will be available for purchase for Rs 1,499. During the crowdfunding campaign, however, the lamp will be available on a discounted price of Rs 1,299. The crowdfunding campaign for the lamp has been announced to begin on July 18, 2019.
