Firstly, the Season 8 Royale Pass will come with the tagline- 'Power of the Ocean.' With every season, Tencent Games has used one theme, and this time, it's time for water theme. As mentioned, the Season 8 pass comes in two versions- Elite Upgrade and Elite Upgrade Plus priced at 600 UC and 1800 UC respectively. Purchasing the Elite Upgrade pass will give access to 100 ranks unlock (which can be done over the weeks with Elite missions), while the Elite Upgrade Plus pass offers instant 25 RP rank upgrade (equivalent to 2,500 UC) along with Urban Scavenger Backpack and brand new Warning Sign- QBZ skin.
Being based on the water theme, Tencent Games is also introducing a new octopus styled backpack which may be included in the Royale Pass rank benefits. Once the user reaches RP 100 rank, they can redeem the Squad Leader set; The Season 8 will also bring new Scarlet Horror- Scar-L skin, Deep Sea UAZ skin, Spawn Island Line Dance emote and a new Bloody Tide Helmet.
Tencent Games to Launch Royale Pass First Year Celebration Rewards
A few months ago, Tencent Games celebrated the first anniversary of PUBG Mobile by providing various rewards to the users. And with the Royale Pass Season 8, the popular Battle Royale game will celebrate its Royale Pass first year anniversary. Users will be able to unlock rewards from the Ocean Treasures and the rewards include new M16A4 skin, Kar98K skin and more. Furthermore, there will be a new Ocean DP28 skin inside the Royale Pass Season 8.

PUBG Mobile 0.13.4 Beta Update Now Rolling Out
In other news, PUBG Mobile is now rolling out a new beta update with version 0.13.4 to the users. The beta update brings new features to the table and the stable version will be rolled out before the Royale Pass Season 8. With the upcoming 0.13.4 update, we might see Tencent Games rolling out the Erangel 2.0 map to PUBG Mobile as the PC version has already received it. Also, the M249 machine gun that spawns in the newly introduced Team Deathmatch mode can be replaced with the RPG-7 rocket launcher which is currently available only in the Zombie mode.
