Communication mode and mediums have reached to the next level where users especially smartphone users are relying much on Data for communication instead of sms/voice. In this scenario i feel there is a need to stress more on Data plans and bring front a small comparison of Data packs among operators in respective circles one by one.

Not only affordable pricing makes it but quality should also be given a top priority in selecting an operator if your main choice of use is DATA. I already came up with a survey earlier requesting users to share their 2G Data speeds/feedback/experiences here for which 1547 responses received and still continuing – (Thanks Dear Readers).

So, here i have taken 1GB as a parameter pack for comparison and tabulated as below:

In Uninor i couldn’t find any 1GB pack as per their site, so taken the nearest pack available.Rest all are chosen to be 1GB packs ignoring any other packs containing extra benefits.

Note: Airtel Post Free Usage Charges are 3p/10KB not 10p/10KB as mentioned in the table.

Definitely it’s BSNL who is providing the most affordable Data packs in 3G and Quality depends on respective individual’s experiences. 

UPDATE: We have not missed nor not aware of AIRCEL missing from the list.When we tried to gather information there were different confusions and we don’t want to take a chance or confuse readers. So, we gave up on aircel and filled it with *** in the lists.
