Bharti Airtel has completed the deployment of additional spectrum acquired in July 2024, enhancing its 5G and 4G network capacity across Bihar and Jharkhand. The new spectrum includes 5.2 MHz in the 1800 MHz band and 7 MHz in the 900 MHz band. Airtel stated that this deployment, covering all 62 districts, is expected to boost network capacity, increase data speeds, and provide better coverage, particularly indoors and in both urban and rural areas.
