Bharti Airtel said it has enhanced its network by deploying additional spectrum across all 122 districts in Assam and the North East. The company has completed the deployment of the additional spectrum it acquired in July 2024. The addition of 5 MHz on the 1800 MHz band in Assam and 5 MHz on the 2100 MHz band in Assam and the North East will improve Airtel‘s 4G and 5G network capacities. “This upgrade will enhance data speeds and provide significantly better coverage inside homes and buildings in both urban and rural areas,” Airtel said in an official statement on Thursday.
