Vodafone Idea (Vi), the third-largest Indian telecom operator, has been revamping its prepaid plans to better cater to its users' needs. Recently, the telco introduced SuperHero Packs alongside Hero Packs to offer extended durations of unlimited data. Notably, the last detailed discussion on Vodafone Idea's prepaid plans was in October 2024. Since then, Vi has introduced new plans and made both minor and major changes to its existing offerings. This story provides a comprehensive overview of all the revisions and benefits before we step into 2025.

1. Vi SuperHero Plans
The first significant update is the introduction of Vi SuperHero Packs. These plans are available on recharge packs offering 2GB per day or more of daily data in Maharashtra, New Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Punjab, and Haryana. Prices start at Rs 365, according to a statement by Vi on December 6.
Plans such as Rs 365, Rs 379, Rs 407, Rs 408, Rs 409, Rs 449, Rs 469, Rs 539, Rs 649, Rs 795, Rs 979, Rs 994, Rs 996, Rs 997, Rs 998, Rs 1198, Rs 1599 (2.5GB per day), Rs 3599, Rs 3699 (50GB extra data for 90 days), and Rs 3799 all include SuperHero Plan benefits.
"The Super Hero Plan is designed to align with evolving data consumption patterns, empowering users to maximise their digital experiences without worrying about running out of data. With this plan, prepaid customers enjoy unlimited data for half a day, from 12 AM to 12 Noon. The plan strengthens Vi's appeal to data-savvy youth, already benefitting from Vi’s successful Hero plan, additionally also addressing the needs of women who prioritise productivity during morning hour, with enhanced data benefits tailored to their schedules," Vi said while announcing the SuperHero benefits.

2. Vi Hero Unlimited Plans
Vi's Hero Unlimited Plans remain available in all circles, offering Unlimited Night Binge benefits.
The plans include Rs 349 (1.5GB data/day + 5GB extra data for 3 days), Rs 579 (5GB extra data for 3 days), Rs 666, Rs 799, Rs 859 (5G data for 3 days), Rs 1749 (30GB extra data for 45 days), and Rs 3499. There haven’t been significant changes to these plans' pricing or benefits.
3. Vi Rs 719 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 719 prepaid plan provides unlimited voice calls, 1GB of data per day, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 72 days. After the daily data quota, speeds are capped at 64 Kbps. No additional benefits are included. This plan is available in Maharashtra and Goa and similar circles.
4. Vi Rs 289 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 289 prepaid plan offers unlimited voice calls, 4GB of data, and 600 SMS with a validity of 40 days. Post-quota data is charged at 50p per MB. This plan is also available in Maharashtra and Goa and similar circles.
5. Vi Rs 249 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 249 prepaid plan includes unlimited voice calls, 1GB of data per day, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 24 days. Speeds are reduced to 64 Kbps after the daily quota. No additional benefits are included.
6. Vi Rs 138 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 138 prepaid plan offers 10 local on-net night minutes and 100MB of data, valid for 20 days. Night minutes are available from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
7. Vi Rs 128 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 128 prepaid plan includes 10 local on-net night minutes and 100MB of data, valid for 18 days. Night minutes are available from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

8. Vi Rs 1112 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 1112 plan (for new broadband connections) is part of the Vi One Portfolio and can be opted with the Vi One Fiber Plan. It offers unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data per day, and 100 SMS per day with a validity of 90 days. Subscribers also receive a SonyLIV Mobile + TV subscription and Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription for 90 days, along with Hero Unlimited benefits. This plan is available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
9. Vi Rs 4219 Prepaid Plan
The Rs 4219 plan, also part of the Vi One Portfolio, and can be opted with the Vi One Fiber Plan. It provides unlimited voice calls, 2GB of data per day, and 100 SMS per day for 365 days. Additional benefits include a SonyLIV Mobile + TV subscription for 365 days, Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription for 1 year, and Hero Unlimited benefits. The plan is available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
10. Revised VI IR packs
