Last month, rumours were making rounds online claiming the arrival of a new tablet from Asus. It looks like the company has confirmed the existence of the tablet by launching the new ZenPad 3S 10.

ASUS ZenPad 3S 10

Regarding specifications, Asus ZenPad 3S 10 comes with a 9.7-inch screen, with a resolution of 1536 x 2048p backlit with LED. Wrapped in an aluminum body and with a weight of 430gm, the tablet belongs to the category of extra-thick, perhaps due to its bulge around the camera. Located at the rear is an 8MP snapper and in the front, there is a 5MP unit. On the tablet, there is a home button, which also turns to be the fingerprint reader. Asus Z Stylus supports the tablet. Not to mention, the screen is also Tru2Life display technology, meaning improved images.

Asus also seemed to have worked well on audio, as ZenPad 3S 10 comes integrated with flat five-magnet dual speakers, amplifiers and smart NXP that supports DTS Headphone: X technology. Under the hood, the device comes powered by a MediaTek MT8176 chipset with two ARM Coretex-A72 CPU cores, four ARM Cortex-A53 cores, and PowerVR GX6250 graphics, coupled with 4GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 128GB. For connectivity, the tablet has a USB type-C port, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, and DTS audio with support for 24-bit/192 kHz audio output through the headset jack.

The tablet also has GPS and GLONASS integrated. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The battery would be another highlight of ZenPad 3S 10. The device houses a 5,900 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Considering the specifications, Asus ZenPad 3S 10 is high-end in fact. The device, unveiled at an event in Taiwan, will go on sale in the country from August 1. In Taiwan, it retails at TWD 11,000 (approx. Rs. 23,000).
