Huawei had been teasing the P9 smartphone for quite some time, and today, the company finally made the device official along with another variant. Both the smartphones, the P9, and P9 Plus boast dual 12-megapixel rear cameras with Leica SUMMARIT lenses and 1.25-micron pixels that claim to offer flawless photography even in low-light conditions. Both the devices are also equipped with RAW support for images. Packed with rather impressive specifications, we expect the device to debut in India soon.

Throwing some light on the specs, The P9 features a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display. On the other hand, the P9 Plus comes with a slightly larger 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display integrated with press touch, which is pretty much similar to 3D touch technology by Apple. Both the smartphones come with Hybrid dual-SIM, which means that the second slot can either be used for SIM or for microSD card. In terms of design, both the devices have a full metal body with chamfered edges. The thickness of P9 stands at 6.95mm while the P9 Plus is 6.98mm thick.

The Huawei P9 will be available in Ceramic White, Mystic Silver, Titanium Grey, Haze Gold, Prestige Gold and Rose Gold color options while the P9 Plus will be up for sale in Ceramic White, Rose Gold, Haze Gold and Quartz Grey color variants. The P9 is priced at £449 (Rs. 42,140 approx.) for 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant while the P9 Plus is priced at £549 (Rs. 51,570 approx.). Both the devices are slated to go on sale from April 16.
