Commenting on the launch, Timir Baran Acharyya, GM, Gionee India, said,”The idea behind introducing P5W has been the youth and their fascination towards carrying bright colorful phones. P5W comes in exciting color ranges from white, blue, red, yellow and black etc. The look and the feel of carrying the device have been thoroughly thought after. Aiming specifically at the youth of the country, we are sure that the device would gauge tremendous interest as like its predecessors.”
Given its price and specifications, the Gionee P5W has got tough competitors such as Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen) and Redmi 2 Prime with similar specs and pricing.
