Gionee P5W with 1GB of RAM and 5-inch display is all set to launch in India

Gionee has come up with yet another smartphone in the budget segment, named as the Gionee P5W. The device will be up for purchase soon, and it will be available in White, Blue, Red,Yellow and Black colors options. If a listing on Zauba is to be believed, the device was imported to India at a price tag of Rs. 6,352 last month. We expect Gionee to launch the device sometime within this month.

The device features a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit chipset clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and has 16GB of expandable internal storage. There is a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, along with a 2-megapixel selfie camera. In the connectivity department, it supports dual-SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and is backed by a 2,000mAh battery. It measures 143.5 x 72 x 8.9mm and weighs 153 grams.
