Motorola launches Moto 360 (2nd gen) smartwatch in India, at a price tag of Rs. 19,999

As expected, Motorola has launched the Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch in India. The Android Wear will be up for purchase at a price tag of Rs. 19,999, exclusively via Flipkart and Myntra. The wearable was first showcased ta the IFA Berlin this year.

Motorola has plans to unveil five variants of the Moto 360, comprising three metal-clad variants and two leather. There are two women-centric variants of the smartwatch as well, one variant comes in Rose Gold color with blush leather metal. On the other hand, men’s variants are available in Cognac, Black leather, and Black metal options. There is another variant of the new Moto 360 as well, which is dubbed as the Moto 360 Sport.

The two different sized variants for men come with a 46mm body and a 42mm body respectively. The display on the bigger sized variant is 1.56-inch with a resolution of 360×230 pixels while the smaller sized one has a 1.37-inch display with a resolution of 360×225 pixels. These two new variants are much more compact and have lesser bezels than the last year Moto 360. The 46mm variant is backed by a 400mAh battery while the 42mm display is backed by a 300mAh battery.

In comparison to its predecessor, Moto 360 2nd Gen has undergone plenty of changes. It comes with Moto customizations such as Live Dials, which is like the complications feature on the Apple Watch, the feature provides quick access to apps directly from the watch face.
