Microsoft is trying very hard to make Windows Phone as flexible and as customisable as Android and their latest attempt is through Live Lock Screen BETA app. This lock screen customisation app for Windows Phone 8.1 was teased during the BUILD 2014 conference and it is finally available in Beta form via Windows Phone Apps+Games Store. It comes with 6 new lock screen layouts with different date, time, notification and screen unlock animation options. Background images for lock screens can be customised to change periodically from local images or you can also use Bing's 'image of the day'.

Currently, in India, this app is compatible with Lumia 630 and Lumia 630 Dual SIM which were launched with Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed. It is also compatible with Lumia 625 which is the only device which received the Windows Phone 8.1 update.
