Lava International is all set to launch a new tablet in its ETab series. With the success of ETab Xtron Lava is going to launch this new tablet as successor of Xtron tablet by next week.

The name of the tablet is yet to be confirmed but it has been known that this new 7" tablet from Lava will have 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512 MB RAM and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. There will be a SIM slot for accessing 3G data as well as making 3G voice and video calls over front camera.

Lava will preload exclusive contents from Hungama, BigFlix, Edukart, Meritnation, Diamond Comics, and Readwhere.

While I must say that as the specs are known, there is nothing exciting. There are already Jelly Bean running Android tablets with dual core processors, and 1 GB RAM. But Lava can make the deal attractive with pricing and adding some accesories like stand and keyboard with it.

Specifications:

* 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor
* 512 MB RAM
* 4GB internal storage
* Android 4.0 ICS
* WVGA 7" Display
* 2MP back camera & front VGA camera
* 3000 mAh battery
* 3G calling
