YouTube for Android update introduces a new navigation bar

YouTube for Android is now getting a slightly upgraded version of its interface. It is an update, which will introduce a new interface of the app involving a refreshed navigation bar.

As per a report by Android Police, the YouTube for Android app is currently receiving a server-side update that brings about a plenty of changes instead of a whole new version. The app version stays the same, but users will notice a few changes. As part of a new interface, the navigation bar has been relocated from top to bottom. Also, the color of the navigation bar is now White.

We checked the app version of YouTube on our Android smartphone, but it has not got the update yet. We expect YouTube to start rolling out the new update to its users in India. A few weeks ago, YouTube gave a makeover to its app layout and animation used in the expansion of a video description. One of the most important features that we are waiting for on YouTube app is – background video play. YouTube has not yet given any hint about any major update that will include the background play option. Until YouTube rolls out a major update with such feature, we have to go on with such incremental interface changing updates.

Meanwhile, you can also check your device to see if the YouTube app on your Android smartphone has got the new interface. If yes, then we would like to read your views on it. Hit the comment section below and share your opinion.
