Vodafone India Red Box Offers Free Data Transfer at RoTo (Retail of Tomorrow) stores in Mumbai

Vodafone India has launched secure data transfer, specially pictures, videos and documents, from one mobile handset to another for customers in Mumbai, called the Vodafone Red Box Service, it is a first-of-its-kind free of cost telecom service offering in the city.

The Vodafone Red Box facilitates easy and secure transfer of key data and media files, including internal memory and SIM card contacts. The service is available at any Vodafone RoTo (Retail of Tomorrow) stores in Mumbai. The service will be provided free of cost to customers.

To locate your nearest Vodafone Store, sms STORE station name to 111 (toll free)

I don’t understand what this service is!!!

You just put your SD card in new phone..that’s it..we get our pics,music & videos in new phone.Take contacts backup in old phone (using app/export feature on to SD card) & import in new phone.

Why one has to go for vodafone store for this?? Am I missing something??


When I was at vodafone store for some work, I saw another customer screaming and pissed off with vodafone store people because they lost and could not recover or restore his phone contacts after transfer attempt. poor fellow… got fooled and f****ed by vodafone… as we all do. But no worry Reliance Jio will change things and screw & crush the arrogant vodafone.
