Vodafone India makes a strong foray into wireline services with new offerings

Vodafone Business Services the enterprise arm of Vodafone India, today unveiled its strategy to drive growth through a strong foray in wireline services. With the introduction of a suite of offerings for businesses in the wireline space, VBS is all set to move beyond mobility solutions. VBS is targeting approximately 20% of its enterprise revenues coming from wireline services over the next five years.

Vodafone Wireline IndiaThe wireline services suite is a part of the total communication solutions, over and above the mobility and M2M services. This bouquet of integrated wireline services for businesses will ensure uninterrupted and secured communication and will especially empower Indian enterprises to keep pace with the evolution in digital communication.




Some of the key services offered by VBS under wireline umbrella include Private Leased Circuits (National and International), MPLS based Virtual Private Network (VPN), Internet Leased Lines, Office Wireline Voice, Toll Free Services, Audio and Video conferencing Services.

Internet Leased Lines: Vodafone’s Internet Leased Lines connect the business to the outside world and give the organisation secure data connectivity. This service guarantees dedicated connectivity between business location and Vodafone’s Internet gateways. Vodafone’s Internet Leased Lines gives a guaranteed bandwidth ranging from 64 Kbps to 1 Gbps and comes with best in class service uptimes and performance benchmarks. .

Virtual Private Networks (MPLS): Based on Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), Vodafone’s Virtual Private Networks (VPN) connect geographically diverse locations in a cost-effective and efficient way. It provides secure and faster data connectivity between offices via a cloud, avoiding extra cost or infrastructure. It is a flexible solution that supports bandwidth-hungry applications. Backed by a Network Operations Centre (NOC), an ever-expanding fibre footprint and other last mile access technologies, Vodafone can deliver a truly world-class MPLS service. Vodafone can also cater to Multicast VPN and Layer 2 VPN requirements as per business demands.

Leased Circuits: It helps to keep offices connected with each other. The service, delivered on Vodafone’s seamless optic-fibre network, provides high speed, secure and dedicated data connectivity for instant transfer of data between two offices in India or abroad.

Office Wireline Voice (E1-DID): Vodafone’s Office Wireline Voice Service transforms the employee extensions to direct lines. Each E1 link carries 30 digital Voice channels. This means that an effective EPABX can be set upto enable simultaneous usage of phone lines at 30 office desks. E1 trunks carry digitised voice, giving crystal-clear quality. Vodafone’s Office Wireline Voice (E1-DID) is available across most major cities in the country.

Audio Conferencing: Vodafone’s Audio Conferencing Service provides a reliable cost-effective solution for connecting your workforce. It offers the best features, unique online tools and smartphone applications, seamlessly stitched together for an unparalleled user experience. There are four service options to choose from Reservation-less Plus, Automated Conference, Operator Assisted and Event.

Toll Free Number: Vodafone gives a Pan-India toll free number to access the brand or organisation. Convenient and easy to use, it ensures that the customers are just a phone call away, at no cost to them. It offers a wide range of unique numbers that will help strengthen the brand efforts and recall. It also delivers detailed, itemised bills in excel format to help you manage the telecommunication spends.
