In conjunction with the telecom regulator Trai’s and Government’s initiative to set up a hotspot Wi-Fi network across the country as a part of the Digital India campaign, Vodafone India today launched yet another free Wi-Fi enabled bus shelter in the country. Vodafone today launched Noida’s first free Wi-Fi enabled bus shelter at Sector 18, Noida.

This announcement follows Vodafone’s Wi-Fi bus shelter at the HUDA City Centre in Gurugram. This Wi-Fi bus shelter allows customers to enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi for up to 20 minutes per day. An operator agnostic offering, this Wi-Fi service can be availed by users of any Indian telecom operator.
The announcement was made by the company’s business head Delhi-NCR, Mr Alok Verma in the presence of Mr Gaurav Bidhuri, Bronze Winner at World Boxing Championship 2017. Vodafone says that the bus shelter at Sector 18 Noida witnesses a heavy influx of people every day, which makes it a suitable choice for such as bus shelter setup.
As said earlier, this is Vodafone’s 3rd such Wi-Fi bus shelter in Delhi NCR after Huda City Centre & Sector 14 in Gurugram. The Vodafone Wi-Fi hotspot network is also available at 116 prime locations of Delhi-NCR, and the places include popular marketplaces/malls, hospitals, colleges, etc, where there’s a massive influx of people.
Vodafone is offering 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi (operator agnostic) at places such as Dilli Haat (INA Market), Khan Market, Fortis Hospital (Gurugram) & all Vodafone Stores across Delhi NCR.
