Vodafone India has upgraded its network in Karnataka to provide best in class connectivity solutions to over 7 million customers. Having introduced Vodafone SuperNet™, a seamless network experience that empowers users to remain confidently connected at all times for voice and data needs, Vodafone has further invested in strengthening network and customer experience.

Expressing pride on the upgraded Vodafone SuperNet™ Service platform, Amit Kapur, Business Head – Karnataka, Vodafone India, said, “In the past one year we have made significant investments of over INR 740 cr to upgrade our network for the benefit of more than 7 million customers in Karnataka. Our teams have worked round the clock to set up more than 6000 3G and LTE telecom sites in last 6 months alone. Crucial congested junctions in Bengaluru like Electronic city, Whitefield, Banashankari, Yeshwantpur are now on a future fit network. Vodafone SuperNet™, provides customers with all-round benefits of a seamless network experience, beyond just speed, with super content, super streaming and super HD voice. “

With the expansion, Vodafone now connects over 12600 towns and villages in Karnataka, bringing them under the fold of 3G and 4G Vodafone SuperNet™, connectivity and seamless service experience.

Vodafone also recently started offering another pocket-friendly unlimited data pack at Rs. 5, which will offer the customers unlimited data for an hour. The pack is available for subscribers throughout the country and the speed would be that of 2G data. Recently, Airtel introduced ‘Cyber Café paper vouchers’ to attract more users after getting huge demands for its Cyber Café pack, especially in rural and 2G-only areas. Similar to Airtel, Vodafone has priced the data pack same at Rs. 5, which can be activated by dialing USSD codes *444*555# or *444*5#.

Even though Idea has tieup with airtel for 3G in karnataka what i have noticed is that it takes too much effort to switch to 3G, When I get a call network switches from 4G to 2G directly but not 3G. Im on a 3G/4G pack but unless I manually select airtel 3G it doenst work.

Anyone facing this?

Yes..same here ..but u can try wcdma only mode..

Today I recharged with a Rs. 27 3G internet pack on a Vodafone Delhi number. I sent a message STOP to 1925 to deactivate balance deduction from main balance due to internet use. But instead the active internet pack was deactivated and removed completely from my account. So now the pack no longer exists in my account & the usage is deducting from the main balance. TRAI rules say that the message STOP to 1925 is meant for preventing main balance deduction due to internet use (when there’s no pack or pack is exhausted) NOT for deactivating active internet pack.… Read more »

Faced same situation with BSNL. CC told that if you do such message then you are not able to use internet, neither from main balance nor from Data balance..
Ye kya baat hui . to fir service hain kis liye?
Bolta hai sirf postpaid wale k liye hain ye service. Trai wale in loko k liye same rule nahi banate kya? Inse penalty leni chahiye Trai ko..
