Reliance Retail introduces fresh price cut for LYF brand phones ahead of JIO commercial launch

Few weeks after slashing LYF device rates, Reliance Retail has now introduced a fresh round of price cuts for its popular LYF devices LYF Flame 1, Wind 5 & Water 7. LYF Flame 1 which was launched at Rs 5499, was available for Rs 4999 after the last price cut in 1st week of July; will now be available for only Rs 4399 after the current price cut of Rs 600.

Flame 1 features a 4.5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display. It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor along with Adreno 304 GPU. It has 1 GB of RAM and comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can also be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box. Flame 1 comes with a 5-megapixel rear primary camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. It supports Dual SIM, has a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 138 grams. The smartphone packs in a 2,000 mAh battery under the hood. While Wind 5 which was launched in June at Rs 6599 now has now received a price cut of Rs 1000 & would be available for Rs 5599.

The dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM) supporting Lyf Wind 5 smartphone features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 294ppi and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The handset is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Lyf Wind 5 sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It packs with a battery of 2000mAh which can deliver up to 6.5 hours of talk time and up to 140 hours of standby time on 4G network.

Another LYF handset in the Water series called Water 7 has got a big price cut of Rs 3000, the device would now be available at only Rs 9999 which was once launched at a price tag of Rs 12,999. LYF Water 7 smartphone comes with an ultra-fast fingerprint sensor the back and boasts a 5.4-inch full HD (1080p) IPS LCD. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 Octa-core 1.5 GHz SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. A microSD card slot is also present and it supports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The LYF Water 7 is available in Silver and Gold color variants.

According to our sources, the discounted rates are already applicable from today, though it might take some time for the company & Reliance Retail to update the price on their website.

Netvelocity app not showing lte band info from last few days anybody noticed same issue?

2 hell with jio saala 2 saal sey jio jio sun raha ho pehle launch toh ho tab baat karta jio ki…… Ghatiyaa network hai jio kayee operators par call nahi lagti jio sey aur incomming bhi nahi aati kehta hai pls check the nobu have dailed… Aur bsnl sey poore india main kahi bhi kisi bhi operator par mila lo kabhi yeh nahi bolega… Aur babu jiss jio ki baar kar rahe ho tum usey thoda village area ki side bhi lekar chale jao lucknow key villege chodo bas thoda oulter par hi nikal jao tab batao ek bhi… Read more »

Ek baat aapne ek dum sahi kahi ki outer par sirf voda airtel and bsnl hi milte hai … aur airtel 3g toh best hai … bsnl kabhi kabhaar chalta hai ….

Jio u p k kisi bhi highway ka 40% bhi cover nhi karta …. esi liye jab bhi jio aayega me apna no. Port nhi karunga … avoid k plans saste hoone ka wait karna jyada sahi rahega

bhai aise service ka kya faida jo aapki musibat key waqt kaam naa aah sake…. log cahe jitna burayee kare airtel ka but aakhir main wahi kaam aata sab aapni aapni bajwa kar baith jate hai tab bechara airtel hi call connect karta hai bhale hi ek danda kyun naa aaye mobile main bakiyoo key toh 2 dande par bhi call nahi connect hoti hai….. janta ho menga hai but yakeen mane service bhi kamaal ki hai aur ha agar kahi chinese handset main sim daalkar batiyaane lage toh network chodo insaan ki band baj jati hai jitna accha network… Read more »

airtel?? Ghanta.. UP east me Vodafone 3G speed aur coverage dono me best hai.. lko me airtel ka platinum 3G hai.. ghanta platinum hai, speed voda aur idea dono se bekar aati hai airtel 3G ki..

Meri area main airtel aur idea lekhraj sey lekar hazrat ganj tak aur udae ismail ganj tak idar gomti nagar hosadiyaa sey poora gomti nagar vishtar tak ki area main airtel 3g ka average speed 8 sey 11 mbps ka rehta hai woh bhi peak hour main aur aap ko bata dey voda ka 3g sirf 1 sey 4 mbps tak hi reh jata hai aur lekhraj market par apne modh key hisaab sey chalta hai voda 3g par 512 kbps ka speed deta hai aur woh bhi page khulne key liye baar baar refresh karna padhta hai…. Bhai sahab BBD ke aas paas to thek se airtel 3G ka network aata hi nahi.. gomtinagar me vodafone 3G bahut sahi chalta h.. aur lko se gorakhpur, ballia, azamgarh, banaras, allahabad travel karo to pata chalega ki airtel 3G best hai ya Vodafone 3G.. kai villages me to airtel 3G hai hi nahi .. but voda aur idea mil jayega..
