“UScellular is growing its private network capabilities and solutions for our enterprise customers.” According to UScellular, “Ericsson’s Private 5G solution and UScellular’s strong coverage in markets that have established manufacturing, distribution centres and warehousing, and providing the experience of operating LTE and 5G networks offer a great combination and value proposition.”
Expanding Horizons
This announcement is an extension of the partnership between two companies that was formed earlier this year. As part of the same, Ericsson’s Private 5G network has been installed at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s (UWM) Connected Systems Institute (CSI) manufacturing research facility, ensuring secure and uninterrupted connectivity for seamless integration with business operations, devices, and applications.
