Samsung has crafted both the smartphones with 3D glass and metal that give sturdiness and curves to the phones, which results in better grip and form factor. As seen on the LG G5, these two phones are also packed with “Always-On Display”. The new display mode is targeted at presenting users with an easy zero-touch experience that will ensure that notifications won’t go unnoticed.

In terms of hardware, the variants launched in India are powered by octa-core Exynos 8890 chipsets. Samsung asserts that the CPU and GPU performances on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are greater than their predecessors Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. Both the smartphones support 4G LTE Cat 9 (up to 450 Mbps of download speeds) in terms of connectivity.
