NTT DATA and Google Cloud Join Forces to Propel AI Adoption in Asia Pacific
NTT DATA has announced an expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud to accelerate the adoption of cloud-based data analytics and generative AI solutions for customers across key markets in the Asia-Pacific region. This collaboration combines NTT DATA’s industry expertise and client base with Google Cloud’s capabilities in data analytics, AI, and cloud technology, enabling enterprises to enhance innovation and operational efficiency.

Industry-Specific AI and Data Solutions

“With co-innovation at the core of this partnership, NTT DATA and Google Cloud aim to develop cloud-based data and AI solutions tailored to industry-specific needs. By using NTT DATA’s existing industry blueprints, best practices and cloud solutions on Google Cloud, the partnership will deliver customised solutions and implementation expertise to businesses in healthcare, life sciences, financial services, insurance, manufacturing, retail and public sector,” the companies said in a joint statement.

As part of the expanded partnership, a dedicated NTT DATA Google Cloud Business Unit will focus on developing joint solutions in data analytics, generative AI, and augmented support for applications, modern infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SAP on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Upskilling and Expanding Expertise

To support effective implementation, the partnership will enhance NTT DATA’s in-house expertise in Google Cloud technologies through advanced training and certification programs, NTT DATA said.

NTT DATA plans to strengthen its in-house expertise by hiring and upskilling professionals in Google Cloud technologies, with a goal of certifying over 1,000 additional engineers in the APAC region. Currently, the company has 2,600 Google-certified engineers across 50 countries.
