Honeywell has launched a suite of new artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions designed to help employees work smarter, make systems more efficient, and improve operational efficiency in the energy industry. By integrating decades of industry knowledge and deep domain data with AI technologies, including Honeywell Forge, Honeywell says it is infusing AI into both new and existing solutions.

Enhancing Decision-Making and Productivity
This provides companies with an end-to-end AI experience for workers in the field, process operators in the control room, and executives at the enterprise level, Honeywell said in an official release.
Honeywell claims its AI solutions can enhance decision-making speed, operational efficiency, and workforce productivity while also upskilling the workforce through enhanced training.
To further expand the solutions available for the energy sector, Honeywell also announced a partnership with Chevron, an American multinational energy company, to develop additional advanced AI-enabled solutions focused on enhancing refining operations.
According to Honeywell, key features of the new AI capabilities include the Experion Operations Assistant, which integrates explainable AI to assist operators in identifying and resolving production issues quickly. This innovation not only optimises operations but also supports less experienced staff in gaining expertise.

Another offering is the Field Process Knowledge System (PKS) and its “field assistant,” powered by Honeywell Forge, which includes a web-based application for supervisors and a mobile app for field workers. This system streamlines operations, maintenance, and documentation tasks, making them easier and safer, Honeywell said.
