Following the success that these stores have brought, Apple is planning to open four more stores. These stores will come in major cities including Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, and Mumbai. One additional store in Delhi and Mumbai will expand the presence of official Apple stores in the two cities. Bengaluru and Pune will get their first Apple Stores that are owned by Apple itself.

Apple is prioritising the Indian market in both manufacturing and selling. Apart from these official Apple stores, the company is also manufacturing the entire iPhone 16 lineup in India.

"Our stores are incredible places to experience the magic of Apple, and it’s been wonderful to deepen our connection with our customers in India,” said Diedre O'Brien, Apple's senior vice president of retail.

He further confirmed that Apple's iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models will also be available for local customers soon. These devices would also be exported to select countries. India is definitely a key market for Apple to unlock growth in the future. India has the numbers (in terms of population) and the craze for Apple products which can be a boost for company's revenues and people's spending capacity grows further. Apple recently launched the iPhone 16 series and on the first day of availability, people in Mumbai and Delhi stores of the company had lined up since early morning to get their hands on the latest iPhones.
