Den Networks reports another loss for Q1 2015

Den Networks, India’s leading cable TV distribution company reported a huge loss of Rs. 62.08 crore in Q1 quarter of 2015. The company had reported a profit last year during Q1 2014, with Rs. 10.05 crore.

The net loss is reported to Rs 144.01 crore in the year, against the net profit of Rs. 38.40 crore during the previous year ended March 2014. The sales too seems to be a loss, around 11.83 percent registered at Rs. 261. 66 crore against the sales of Rs. 296.78 crore during March 2014.

Den Network is reporting a consecutive loss from past two quarters. In December 2014, Den had reported a consolidated net loss of Rs. 62.60 crore. In September 2014, Den Networks loss was calculated around Rs. 20.45 crore.

The Q1 quarter result is an implication that Den Networks seems to lose its leading position in the market.
