Celona and NOW Corp Partner for Private Wireless 5G LAN Solutions in Philippines
Silicon Valley-based Celona, NOW Telecom parent company NOW Corporation  have joined forces to introduce private wireless 5G LAN solutions for enterprises in the Philippines. Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the companies will focus on expanding NOW's broadband network by deploying turnkey standalone (SA) private wireless networks.

Expanding Broadband Networks

These networks will be built with cloud-first architecture, self-organizing wireless capabilities, and plug-and-play technology, ensuring dependable performance. NOW stated that it will leverage Celona's products and technology to help businesses quickly launch private wireless networks, streamline costs, and facilitate scalability.

Targeting Key Industry Sectors

Celona's recent unveiling of indoor and outdoor 5G NR products for the US and global market supports this collaboration. The Celona-NOW partnership will target key sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, oil and natural gas, and transportation ports, according to the official statement.

"We view private wireless as the next technology to revolutionize the enterprise as digital transformation initiatives drive business transformation. This initiative is in support of NOW's Unified Connectivity service portfolio which includes broadband delivered via its NOW Fibre Air, satellite connectivity, and SD-WAN solutions," said NOW Corp.

Industrial 4.0 Evolution
