The new Super Speed VDSL broadband plans offer higher broadband speed 16 Mbps and increased FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit compared to existing VDSL plans from BSNL. However, despite being a VDSL broadband plan, post FUP speed is limited to just 512 Kbps.

The plans also offer unlimited free calls between 9 PM to 7 AM to any network in India. Since all the Broadband plans are also available on FTTH with same tariff, the new plans are also available on FTTH with same tariff. Annual payment benefit by making advance payment for one, two and three years is also available on all plans.

The new VDSL broadband plans from BSNL is part of its strategy to introduce SSA specific broadband plans to counter competition from local broadband players in the region. As with other circle/SSA specific plans, the above VDSL broadband plans are only offered in those locations of NCR region, where there is a matching competition from private operators.

After FUP speed should be atleast 1mbps. Only than these plans can attract new customers.

Very good plans from BSNL! Finally they are waking up to the modern customer’s demand. However I would like to point out for everyone’s knowledge that Gurgaon doesn’t have any serious private wired broadband operator. Spectranet & a few are limited to only few areas or apartment complexes. Vast majority of the city only has BSNL & Airtel. Also this being VDSL, the modems need to be changed. Not a good idea for those who bought high-end WiFi ADSL modems.
