BSNL revises free TV based data packs across India

The state-run telecom operator, BSNL, has once again announced a revision to its data plans, which will effective from the 1st November 2015.


As per the latest information, the telco will be revising its 2G/3G prepaid data STVs bundled with Mobile TV packs. Most importantly, they have reduced the validity of these packs, but added data to its existing pack that is priced at Rs. 103.

Back in September, BSNL made some revisions in Mobile TV usage-based data packs. The latest tariff will be implemented across India from November 1. BSNL is rapidly changing their data packs, and when other operators are offering various freebies on data packs to counter upcoming 4G threat from bigger rivals. So, these kind of indirect price hike would harm BSNL in the long run.

Good move by BSNL. Its high time this PSU moves onto the profitable road and this is one step in the right direction. Jai Hind!


BSNL providing worst service in Kolar City, Karnataka State. Several complaints lodged regarding poor 3G network, call dropping but no use. Without providing good network they blindly hiking tariffs.


Which is best network in kolar, is evdo BSNL available, is BSNL FTTH available, my relatives live there, that’s why asking

I sent request twice to port, but they promised that problem will be solved. Till today problem not rectified. Once again I have to send Port request.
