BSNL revises CDMA prepaid tariff after Service Tax hike

The Government of India introduced Swachh Bharat cess of 0.5 percent on service tax with effect from November 2015. All the telecom service, which were charged with 14 percent Service Tax, would be increased to 14.5 percent after levying Swachh Bharat cess. On account of increased service tax, BSNL has revised its CDMA prepaid offering across all the circles.

the govt just wants money… the greedy politicians keep overcharging all these companies, and the companies put the load on the customers. I don’t think anything is being done about education. nope. not a thing.
