BSNL has announced a revision of its popular 3G data packs by reducing validity and data for some reason. New tariffs will come into effect from 13 February 2016 on across India. At the same time, BSNL is giving 10 percent extra data on all prepaid 3G data STVs above Rs. 70 as promotional offer from 13 February 2016 to 20 February 2016.

BSNL has revised the validity of its popular 3G data STV Rs.68, which used to offer 1GB of data for 3 days, but the validity has now been reduced to just 2 days. The data voucher, which was originally introduced with 10 days validity, was the most popular 3G data pack available for BSNL subscribers. However, BSNL has revised it several times and reduced its validity period.

The validity of 3G data STV Rs. 155, which used to offer 1GB of data for 20 days, has been reduced to 18 days. BSNL has also reduced the available data on STV Rs. 198 from 1.1GB to 1GB. The cost of data STV Rs. 252 has been hiked to Rs. 291, and it comes with the same benefit of 2.2GB for 28 days. BSNL has also launched a new data STV Rs. 4 which gives 20MB of 3G data that's valid for 23 hours and 59 minutes.
